Your business can be a part of the solution to hunger.
Business leaders throughout the Lowcountry are stepping up to partner with the Lowcountry Food Bank to support our mission – ending hunger in coastal South Carolina. You and your team are part of this important work. Discover the way you can join the fight against hunger:
Sponsor an Event
We host a number of events throughout the year. Let us help you find the right event for you.
Create a matching-gift program
By offering a matching-gift program you can provide your employees an opportunity to partner with you in this important work.
Groups of 5 – 60 individuals can participate in team-building volunteer opportunities. Volunteer opportunities include sorting and packaging canned product and produce, packing critical childhood and senior hunger programs and other special projects.
If $1 equals 6 meals, what impact can your corporate support make? Businesses throughout our community have chosen the Lowcountry Food Bank as the recipient of employee giving programs, sponsored one of our signature events or made financial investments that make it possible for us to serve more than 200,000 children, seniors and families experiencing hunger right here in Coastal South Carolina.
Host a Food Drive
Help from your location by collecting some of our most needed items such as rice, tuna, cereal or peanut butter. To participate, sign up on our food drive page. You can use your own collection bin or borrow one of our barrels. Doing good can be fun – challenge your peers, another department or even a competing business to collect the most food!
Make an impact by hearing and sharing our story. Come in for a tour or use our technologically equipped meeting space for staff engagement opportunities. We would love to have you visit!
