About LCFB Nutrition Education

The Nutrition Education team provides training and materials to empower individuals to prepare delicious, nourishing meals.  As a SNAP Education Implementing Agency, Lowcountry Food Bank provides our partners with training, materials, and guidance on how to empower our community to make the best food choices with their budget. Making the most of the food resources is a key part of addressing the root causes of hunger.

Wellness Pantry

The Lowcountry Food Bank envisions a Wellness Pantry as a place that supports the health and well-being of their clients.  These pantries are supported with training on how to set up their client choice pantry, signage to encourage clients to select a variety of healthy foods and resources to educate clients on how to utilize food items. Agencies interested in becoming a Wellness Pantry can apply at select times of the year. To request more information complete the inquiry form.
