About the Project
The Lowcountry Food Bank's Hunger & Homelessness Services Database, listing over 400 agencies that provide hunger and shelter services in the ten coastal counties of South Carolina, was established in the year 2001 with the support of the Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation.
The Hunger and Homelessness Services Database serves as a comprehensive listing of emergency food services and programs throughout the ten coastal counties of South Carolina, and makes these services better accessible to the community. The database also offers the ability to Register An Agency.
The Hunger and Homelessness Database is part of the Lowcountry Food Bank's Hunger Free Zone Initiative. A Hunger Free Zone is a geographic area in which no person is more than five miles from emergency food services.
If you have any questions about the Hunger and Homelessness Database, how to Register An Agency or require additional information about the Lowcountry Food Bank, please contact us at (843) 747-8146.
